NASHVILLE-The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s newest addition to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted list, Albert Jones Smith Jr. was captured in Jackson, TN.

Special Agents of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation along with members of the Jackson US Marshals Service and the Jackson Police Department located and arrested Smith Jr. without incident. He was found inside a residence on Old Humboldt Road in Jackson, TN. Smith was located through routine investigative measures.

Albert Jones Smith Jr. was wanted by the Humboldt Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Currently, agents of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation charged Smith with one count of First Degree Murder.

On December 1, 2013, Albert Jones Smith Jr., age 27,  shot and killed 20 year old Titus Middlebrook while he was driving on Craddock Street near Fifth Street in Humboldt, TN. The circumstances and motive surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.

Smith Jr.  was transported to the Madison County jail.
