NASHVILLE- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Lebanon, Tenn. man after a marijuana grow operation was spotted in his yard by the Governor’s Task Force on Marijuana Eradication today.
Donald Robert Upchurch, 63, of Carthage Highway, was arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession for resale of a Schedule VI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during a commission of a felony, prohibitive weapons, being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon and violating his probation. The grow operation at Upchurch’s residence contained approximately 24 plants and one and a half pounds of finished marijuana. After the operation was spotted, TBI and the Lebanon Police Department arrested Upchurch. The Tennessee Highway Patrol also assisted in the case. The operation remains under investigation.
Upchurch was booked into the Wilson County Jail.
