TBI MEDICAID FRAUD NURSE CONSULTANT

Job Duties:

Compiles findings and information from patient medical records, and medical and/or pharmacy reports to apply to Medicaid Fraud and abuse case investigations. Synthesizes Medicaid Fraud and abuse case investigations findings and information to produce reports. Reviews, compares, and analyzes information in healthcare and billing records for Medicaid Fraud and abuse case investigations. Serves as the initial healthcare expert for Medicaid fraud and abuse casework (e.g. interpretation of medical and procedural terminology, medical standards of care, scope of practice, etc.). Communicates case status/findings to case agents to further the Medicaid Fraud and abuse investigative process.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and experience equivalent to two years of full-time increasingly responsible professional nursing work. OR graduation from accredited college or technical institute with an associate’s degree, possession of an unencumbered Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) License, and experience equivalent to four years of full-time increasingly responsible professional nursing work.

Monthly Salary: $4,973-$7,955

BUSINESS TECH SUPPORT-INTERMEDIATE

Technology and Innovation Division 

TBI Headquarters

Job Duties:

Learns the technical and business functions of program areas in order to provide hardware and software technical support.  Completes all assigned incident and service requests within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) determined for the request type.  Uses the Incident Management System to provide status of incident and service requests.  Works with Business Tech Support-Advanced and Lead staff to obtain quotes from vendors and prepare Requests for Purchases (RFPs).  Works with Business Tech Support-Advanced and Lead staff to maintain hardware inventory, including peripheral devices, as hardware is added, reassigned, or surplused.  Responsible for deployment of new hardware, including scheduling, delivery, setup, installation, and user training.  Responsible for surplusing all outdated hardware, including destruction of hard drives and removal of equipment.  Works with Business Tech Support-Advanced and Lead staff to obtain approval, schedule visits, and travel to TBI field offices to provide information updates and/or address technical issues.

Job Duties:

Responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to agents and supervisors, to include formatting case file investigative reports; entering case file investigation reports into a computerized filing system; preparing and mailing all agent correspondence (i.e., subpoenas, subpoena proceeds, letters, etc.), and managing all agent and supervisor timesheets in Edison.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree; qualifying full-time increasingly responsible sub-professional experience, or paraprofessional, or professional experience, may be substituted for the required education, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years.

Monthly Salary: $2,393-$3,827
