NASHVILLE – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Mt. Juliet man on a theft charge.
At the request of 16th District Attorney General Jennings Jones, on September 11, 2017, TBI Agents joined investigators with the U.S. General Services Administration – Office of Inspector General in investigating a theft allegation. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that in July 2017, an individual employed at a car dealership in Murfreesboro fraudulently used credit cards that were intended to pay for repairs to a U. S. Government vehicle. Agents were able to identify that individual as Bruce Jamar Orr.
On Friday, Orr (DOB 05/24/1990) was arrested in Hendersonville. He was booked into the Sumner County Jail and has a hold on the Rutherford County charge of Theft Under $1,000. His bond has not yet been set.
