NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is seeking the public’s assistance in an ongoing homicide investigation in Hickman County.
On December 27, 2015, authorities in Hickman County discovered the body of Paul ‘JR’ Hayward along Highway 230. Autopsy results indicated Hayward’s death was the result of a shooting. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information the 32-year-old Columbia man visited at least two bars in Maury County in the hours before his death, including The Crash Bar and The Thirsty Mule.
The TBI continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crime and is seeking anyone who may have seen Hayward at either location or with knowledge about the crime or the individuals responsible for Hayward’s death.
