NASHVILLE – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained indictments for a Loretto woman in connection to the death of a Lawrenceburg man last year.

At the request of 22nd District Attorney General Brent Cooper, TBI Special Agents began investigating the death of Sam Passarella on May 19, 2015, shortly after authorities found the body of the 69-year-old in his Old Florence Road residence. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information which led to Crystal Gregoire, a friend of the victim, as the individual responsible for Passarella’s death.

Today, the Lawrence County Grand Jury returned indictments for the 35-year-old, charging her with one count of First Degree Murder, one count of Aggravated Assault, one count of Tampering with Evidence, and one count of Theft. Gregoire is currently being held in the custody of the Giles County Jail on unrelated charges.
