JOB DUTIES

Responsible for preparing budgets, reports, and correspondence in support of the Tennessee Methamphetamine and Pharmaceutical Task Force (TMPTF) and the Governor’s Task Force on Marijuana Eradication (GTFME). Prepares training agendas and announcements, solicits attendees and speakers, and locates training venues. Researches, prepares, and submits grant funding proposals. Analyzes and assists in preparation of complex documents, presentations, and spreadsheets (i.e. budget comparisons, meth and pharmaceutical data comparisons, pseudoephedrine sales comparisons, GTFME statistics, etc.). Assures that policies, procedures, and grant guidelines are being followed. Acts as a liaison between the TBI/TMPTF and local, state, and federal agencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree AND experience equivalent to three years of increasingly responsible full-time professional staff administrative experience. Substitution of Experience for Education: Qualifying full-time increasingly responsible sub professional, paraprofessional, or professional experience may be substituted for the required education, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years. Substitution of Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in public administration, business administration, or other acceptable field may be substituted for the required experience, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years. OR Two years of increasingly responsible professional administrative services experience with the State of Tennessee.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience providing administrative support for Tennessee Drug Investigation Programs, to include the Tennessee Methamphetamine and Pharmaceutical Task Force (TMPTF) and the Governor’s Task Force on Marijuana Eradication (GTFME).

Monthly Salary Range: $2,742- $4,386

INTELLIGENCE ANALYST
FUSION CENTER, TBI HEADQUARTERS

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for providing analytical support to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies statewide and nationwide, in response to requests for assistance. Specifically, provides analytical aid to law enforcement through the six designated TBI Criminal Intelligence Unit (CIU) programs: AMBER Alert, Gangs, Human Trafficking, Missing Children, Sex Offender Registry, and Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. Helps collect data and information regarding identified law enforcement areas of study for the preparation of publications. This position also requires significant knowledge and familiarity with products in the Microsoft Office Suite including: Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree and two years of full-time experience in one or a combination of the following: 1) developing Intelligence products for homeland security, the military, and/or law enforcement agencies, 2) performing forensic financial examinations or 3) criminal investigations work.  Substitution of Experience for Education: Qualifying experience in one or a combination of the following: 1) developing Intelligence products for homeland security, the military, and/or law enforcement agencies, 2) performing forensic financial examinations or 3) criminal investigations work may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of four years (e.g., experience equivalent to one year of full-time work in one or a combination of the above listed areas may substitute for one year of the required education). OR Two years as an Intelligence Analyst or Law Enforcement Information Coordinator (CID or CIU only) with the State of Tennessee.

MONTHLY SALARY RANGE: $2,742– $4,386
