KNOXVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has obtained an indictment for an Oneida woman accused of stealing money from her employer.

At the request of 8th District Attorney General Lori Philips-Jones, TBI Special Agents began investigating Misty Lynn Blevins on April 23, 2014. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that Blevins, while an employee of S & L Products in Huntsville, Tenn., transferred money from the business Paypal account to her personal Paypal account without the company’s consent. Ultimately, investigators determined Blevins stole approximately $43,000 from August 2012 to January 2014.

On Tuesday, the Scott County Grand Jury returned an indictment for Blevins, charging the 31-year-old with one count of Theft over $10,000. On Wednesday, Blevins turned herself into TBI Agents at the Scott County Jail, where she was later released after posting $25,000 bond.
