NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has obtained indictments for a Lincoln County woman accused of fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs.

At the request of 17th District Attorney General Robert Carter, TBI Special Agents began investigating Lauren Faith Moon on May 6, 2013. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that between January 1, 2012 and June 3, 2013, Moon fraudulently obtained prescription drugs from approximately seven different doctors and used five different pharmacies to fill the prescriptions.

On May 20th, the Lincoln County Grand Jury returned indictments for the Fayetteville woman, charging her with 26 counts of Prescription Fraud. Today, the 30-year-old turned herself into the Lincoln County Jail, where she was later released after posting $10,000 bond.
