GALLATIN – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have arrested and charged a Gallatin man accused of assaulting a juvenile during a domestic dispute in early April.

On April 27th, at the request of 18th District Attorney General Ray Whitley, TBI Agents began investigating the allegation involving Vincent Marquez (DOB 10-5-60). During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that Marquez, a Gallatin Police Department officer who was off-duty at the time of the incident, assaulted a juvenile related to his girlfriend.

Today, TBI Agents arrested Marquez and charged him with one count of Domestic Assault. He was subsequently released from the Sumner County Jail on his own recognizance.
