STEWART COUNTY – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and investigators with the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a Woodlawn man on charges of accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, on September 23, 2018, TBI Agents and Sheriffs’ deputies began investigating a homicide that had occurred that day on Rorie Hollow Road in Indian Mound. During the course of that investigation, Agents developed information that identified David Dover as an individual who was responsible for serving as an accessory after the fact, and fabricating or tampering with evidence.

On Monday, Agents arrested David Lee Dover (DOB 11/27/1992), and charged him with one count of Fabricating/ Tampering with Evidence and one count of Accessory After the Fact. He was booked into the Stewart County Jail. Bond has not currently been set pending a hearing.
