KINGSPORT – Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have arrested a Kingsport man for a second time as part of an ongoing human trafficking investigation.

Earlier this year, TBI Agents began investigating Zachery Felton (DOB 4/14/85) after he was arrested during a joint undercover human trafficking operation with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. As part of the ongoing investigation into that incident, Agents received information that after being released from the Knox County Jail on a $2,000 bond, Felton began trafficking women for the purpose of commercial sex acts out of his home on Beechwood Road in Kingsport.

On Friday, working alongside the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and the Kingsport Police Department, TBI Agents executed a search warrant at the Beechwood Road residence. Felton was arrested and charged with one count of Promoting Prostitution. He was subsequently booked into the Sullivan County Jail where he is being held without bond.

At this time, the investigation remains active and ongoing, with the possibility of additional charges.
