JOHNSON CITY – A joint investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a Fall Branch woman for her role in helping a fugitive.
On January 10th, TBI Special Agents and investigators from the sheriff’s office began searching for Jonathan Robert Pearson (DOB 3/4/80) who was wanted in connection to the death of a Washington County inmate. Today, authorities developed information that Pearson was staying at a hotel located on Stewball Circle in Kingsport. With the assistance of the Kingsport Police Department, Pearson was located and taken into custody. Further investigation revealed that Candise Marie Stout (DOB 10/30/80), Pearson’s girlfriend, helped him elude authorities.
This evening, Stout was arrested and charged with one count of Accessory after the Fact/Harboring a Fugitive. She was booked into the Washington County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
