MEMPHIS – A fugitive who was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most Wanted list in November is now in custody, after being captured in Texas.
Antoine Adams, DOB 11/21/1989, was wanted by the Marshall County (Mississippi) Sheriff’s Office, the Memphis Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for his escape from the Marshall County (MS) Jail on November 5th. Prior to his escape from jail, Adams was being held for a homicide that occurred in Slayden, MS. Tennessee also had a hold on Adams for a homicide and robbery committed in Memphis.
Adams’ capture is a result of a joint investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Marshal’s Service, and the Memphis Police Department. Adams was arrested and taken into custody by the Harris County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office Patrol Bureau.
