INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIVISION, TBI HEADQUARTERS
Responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining Microsoft SQL databases. Works with the in-house development team to design and create SQL tables, stored procedures, scripts, indexes, queries, etc. as needed during project development. Creates, maintains and monitors database replication. Creates ad-hoc queries as requested. Performs administration tasks on SQL databases including monitoring SQL and server error logs, monitoring and shrinking of log files, creation, monitoring, and maintenance of backup jobs, and rebuilding of indexes. Creates and maintains reports using SQL Server Reporting Services. Monitors database performance and capacity; performs tuning as needed for optimal database performance and for capacity planning.
Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree and one year of professional level experience in the analysis, design, or programming of business information systems utilizing database management systems (e.g., IMS/DB, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle).
