NASHVILLE – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest in Colorado of a woman charged with stealing from her former boss in Lewisburg.

At the request of 17th District Attorney General Robert Carter, on January 12th, TBI Special Agents joined detectives with the Lewisburg Police Department in investigating a theft allegation against Aleea Danielle Nash. At that time, Nash was employed as the receptionist/ bookkeeper for a dental practice in Lewisburg. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that from February 2014 through January 2017, Nash stole in excess of $250,000 from the practice.

On July 26th, the Marshall County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Nash (DOB 10/24/1973) with one count of Theft over $250,000, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Nash had since left the state, and was arrested Monday night by members of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado, with assistance from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. She faces a Fugitive from Justice charge in Colorado and is currently being held without bond pending a hearing currently scheduled for Wednesday.
