NASHVILLE – An operation to combat human trafficking in Nashville, conducted by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and partner agencies, has resulted in the indictment of 11 men who are charged with patronizing prostitution from a person who is a minor.

From August 2nd through August 4th, TBI joined the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations, in conducting an undercover prostitution/ human trafficking operation in Nashville. As a result of this investigation, called “Operation Someone Like Me”, approximately 40 individuals were arrested or issued citations on prostitution-related charges. Each case was reviewed by the office of the Davidson County District Attorney General, to determine whether circumstances existed in which a subject patronized prostitution from an undercover Agent posing as a minor, under the age of 18.
