NASHVILLE – A Clarksville man who was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top Ten Most Wanted list Wednesday afternoon is now in custody in Hardeman County.

Darcell Dominique Wright, who also goes by the name Robert Jackson, was taken into custody just before midnight the evening of November 18th. Special Agents with the TBI and detectives with the Clarksville Police Department developed information that Wright was at 223 Hazelgrove Street in Bolivar. With the assistance of the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office and the Bolivar Police Department, TBI Agents were able to take Wright into custody without incident.

Wright was wanted by the Clarksville Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for Attempted Criminal Homicide. On May 22nd, Wright allegedly brandished a handgun and fired multiple shots into an SUV occupied by an adult male and two minor children. The adult was struck in the chest, back, abdomen and buttocks. The two children were not harmed.

Wright’s booking photo was not available at the time of this release. He is being held by the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office until being transported to Montgomery County.
