MEMPHIS – Special Agents in the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Drug Investigation Division have obtained indictments for two men accused of attempting to rob a home involved in an ongoing investigation.

Earlier this year, as part of a multi-agency drug investigation in the Memphis area, TBI Special Agents developed information that Darren Downen and Anthony Davis planned to rob a residence in the Memphis area.

On May 28th, the Shelby County Grand Jury returned indictments for Downen (Pictured Left) and Davis, charging each with one count of Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Burglary and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery. Today, the men turned themselves into the Shelby County Jail, where Downen, 50, was booked on $40,000 bond and Davis, 42, was booked on $50,000 bond.
