NASHVILLE – Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained indictments charging a Nashville man with forging fingerprint documents in Wilson County.

At the request of 15th District Attorney General Tommy Thompson, Special Agents began investigating Erin George Pennington on February 27, 2014. During the course of the investigation, Agents learned that on February 18, 2014, Pennington went to a Mt. Juliet business and tried to submit his fingerprints as someone else’s prints, so that other individual could obtain a real estate license.

On Wednesday, the Wilson County Grand Jury returned indictments against Pennington, 23, charging him with one count of Criminal Simulation and one count of Forgery less than $500. Today, Pennington turned himself in to TBI Agents at the Wilson County Jail, where at the time of this release, he was being held on a $2,500 bond.

Erin Pennington
