NASHVILLE – As part of continuing casework into a Human Trafficking operation spanning several counties, Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have obtained indictments for a Murfreesboro man accused of paying for sex with an underage victim.
At the request of former 16th District Attorney General Bill Whitesell, TBI Special Agents began investigating Adonis Ramon Hart on August 16, 2012. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that Hart contacted a man selling sex with an underage female online. Investigators further learned Hart engaged in sexual intercourse with the minor at his Murfreesboro apartment in November 2011.
On Tuesday, the Rutherford County Grand Jury returned indictments for Hart, charging the 35-year-old with one count of Trafficking for Sexual Servitude, one count of Conspiracy to Commit Trafficking for Sexual Servitude, one count of Rape, and one count of Aggravated Statutory Rape. Today, authorities arrested Hart and booked him into the Rutherford County Jail on $250,000 bond. To date, TBI’s casework into this specific operation has led to charges for an additional six individuals.
