NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has obtained an indictment and arrest in the case of an Antioch woman accused of abusing an impaired adult in her care.
Working alongside the Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, TBI Special Agents began investigating Tito Talabi on April 21st. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that Talabi, an employee of Support Solutions, physically abused a 47-year-old woman in her care on April 17th. The incident left the woman, who has a developmental disability, with minor injuries and bruising. Following the incident, Talabi quit her job.
On June 13th, the Davidson County Grand Jury returned an indictment for the 26-year-old, charging her with one count of Abuse of an Impaired Adult. On Monday afternoon, an Agent arrested her without incident. Talabi was taken by officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department to the Davidson County Jail, where she was released after posting $7,500 bond.
