NASHVILLE-In a joint investigative effort, members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the ATF, State Bomb and Arson, US Postal Inspectors, the State Department of Homeland Security and the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department are developing leads which led to the death of an elderly man yesterday.

On February 10, 2014, at approximately 5:00 PM, members of the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call about an explosion at 580 Vance Lane in Lebanon. Upon arrival, a male was found deceased and an injured female was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital.

After a preliminary survey of the area, it was determined that an unknown package exploded. Any specific information regarding the package and the circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation. Currently, the crime scene is being processed and evidence collected.

The male victim has been identified as John Setzer, age 74 and the injured female is Marion Setzer, age 72. Authorities involved in this incident are examining evidence from this event and are probing leads to develop any suspect or suspects.

There is an $8,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction in this case.
