JACKSON- Special Agents of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested current Henry County Trustee, David Daniel Stone after an allegation of sending intimidating messages to his opponent.

On January 19, 2014, a candidate for Henry County Trustee received messages via Facebook from Stone that related to the victim attending a political event. The messages presented a specific threat that constituted a violation of the victim’s civil rights under Tennessee law. Stone was formally charged with Civil Rights Intimidation.

On January 22, 2014, at the request of the District Attorney General Hansel McCadams, TBI opened an investigation into the incident. David Stone, age 41, of Paris, TN was arrested this evening and transported to the Henry County jail. David Stone was given bond of $7500.
