STATISTICAL ANALYST 2
CJIS Support Center, TBI Headquarters in Nashville
Responsible for producing the annual Crime on Campus report, the Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted report, and the annual Hate Crime report. Produces a monthly newsletter, and collects the annual Campus population numbers through a web survey. Reviews and enters the Methamphetamine judgment orders resulting in placement of offenders on the state’s Methamphetamine Registry. Assists the Statistical Analyst 3 in data analysis and crime trend information, and creates presentations using Microsoft Powerpoint for annual conferences and meetings. This position involves a significant amount of writing and knowledge of the utilities in Microsoft Sequel Server, and several of the products in the Microsoft Office Suite including: Word, Excel, Publisher and Sharepoint.
Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree including, at least, six quarter hours in statistics, mathematics, and/or computer science and experience equivalent to one year of full-time professional statistical work. Qualifying experience in professional statistical work may substitute for the required education, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years. Graducate course work credit received from an accredited college or university in any statistical field, including but not limited to applied statistics or mathematics; social, behavorial, health, or life science; computer science; any business field including but not limited to accounting or business administration and/or public administration may substitute for the required experience on a month-for-month basis to a maximum of one year.
SALARY RANGE $2,369 – $3,789
