Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation worked a case of soliciting a minor which has resulted in the arrest of a Colorado man.

Daniel Kraft, 29, of Aspen, Colorado was arrested by the Aspen Police Department yesterday on Tennessee warrants for solicitation and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. On March 6, 2013, an employee of the Perry County Sheriff’s Department was approached via text message by a subject claiming to be Daniel Trussell. The subject told the victim he viewed her picture on Facebook and offered her $10,000 to make pornographic videos with him and asked her if she knew anyone younger to join them.  He then solicited what he believed to be a 17-year-old girl, who was actually an undercover agent, and described in detail what he wanted her to do in the video. The 21st District Attorney General’s office requested TBI to investigate. Trussell was identified as Kraft,  located in Colorado and warrants taken out for his arrest.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Department and the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation. Kraft was booked into jail and was expected to appear in court this afternoon in Colorado.
