CHATTANOOGA – Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have arrested a Tampa man who had an outstanding warrant out of Hillsborough County, Florida.
The Circuit/ County Court of the 13th Judicial Circuit in Florida issued an arrest warrant last month for Eric McNeil (DOB 7/25/1994) on a charge of Lewd and Lascivious Behavior Against Victim age 12-16.
On Wednesday, McNeil was taken into custody on Wampler Lane in Cleveland, Tennessee, by Special Agents with the TBI, with the assistance of officers from the 10th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. McNeil was booked into the Bradley County Jail as a Fugitive from Justice. He will be extradited to Florida in reference to the underlying charge.
