NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today arrested a Trousdale County man for sexually abusing a child.
James Justin Jellison, 29, of Hartsville was arrested and charged with two counts of rape of a child and two counts of aggravated sexual battery of a child. On June 17, 2013, the 15th Judicial District Attorney General requested TBI to investigate allegations against Jellison after a family member of the victim reported the potential abuse to the Trousdale County Sheriff’s Office. Jellison admitted to the TBI and a Trousdale County detective about the abusing the boy. Investigators believe the abuse took place between December 2012 and March 2013.
Jellison was booked into the Trousdale County Jail on $100,000 bond. The Trousdale County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
