JOB DUTIES

Responsible for reviewing Polices/Procedures for NCIC/TIES entries, Sex Offender Registry, DNA and AFIS Submittals, TIES and CJIS Security Awareness Training at criminal justice and law enforcement agencies across the state. Reviews take place on site and involve frequent overnight travel. Provides technical assistance for connectivity issues between the agencies and TBI; provides training to agencies at annual conferences, as well as other training sessions throughout the year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree with a major in Criminal Justice or Computer Science and two years of full-time experience in law enforcement; OR, Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree and one year of full-time experience in law enforcement. Additional graduate coursework in Computer Science or Criminal Justice may substitute for one year of the required experience (36 graduate quarter hours in Computer Science or Criminal Justice may substitute for one year of experience). Full-time experience in law enforcement may be substituted for the required post-secondary education on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of four years.

SALARY RANGE $2,289 – $3,662
