Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has charged two men in a drive-by shooting incident that occurred at Crossville residence yesterday that left one person shot and injured.

Danny Bilyeu (top photo), 36, of Crossville was arrested and charged last night with one count of attempted first degree murder and one count of criminal attempt. He was identified as the shooter who shot at the house injuring the victim. Nathaniel Payne (bottom photo), 31, also of Crossville, was arrested and charged with criminal responsibility for attempted first degree murder and criminal responsibility for criminal attempt. He was identified as being in the vehicle with Bilyeu when the shooting occurred. The victim, 33-year-old Ken Carr McGee, was shot once in the abdomen was airlifted to a local hospital where we was treated for injuries. There was also another adult and two children in the home when the shooting occurred.

TBI investigated the case with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Children’s Services. Bilyeu and Payne were booked into the Cumberland County Jail without bond.
