Greene County, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today arrested a Green County man on one count each of Statutory Rape by an Authority Figure, Aggravated Statutory Rape and Purchasing Alcoholic Beverages for a Child.
Jerry E. Malone, 49, was charged and booked into the Greene County Jail today on $30,000 bond. On October 24, 2012, District Attorney General Berkeley Bell, 3rd Judicial District, requested TBI to investigate the allegations that Malone was alleged to have had sexual relations with a juvenile on October 7, 2012. At the time of the complaint, Jerry Malone drove a school bus for the Greene County School System. The investigation revealed that Malone met two juveniles on October 7th in Greene County and provided alcohol to the juveniles. Malone and the juveniles went to a residence where one of the juveniles had sexual intercourse with Malone. After conducting the investigation, TBI presented the case to the Greene County Grand Jury which returned an indictment against Malone.
