Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today is seeking the public’s help in identifying a female homicide victim discovered in Coffee County over the weekend whose identity has not been determined.

At approximately 12:35 p.m. on March 9, 2013, the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a body being discovered near the Summitville Cave. Deputies discovered a white female who had been badly burned and believed to have been murdered and her body dumped. The victim is described as being approximately 4’8” to 5’2” tall weighing between 100 to 120 pounds with brown eyes and blonde/auburn colored hair. She was wearing a black shirt with orange writing and pink bra. The female had no teeth in her bottom jaw, but wore a set of dentures as her top teeth. It is also possible she has a pierce left eyebrow. Anyone with information about her identity is urged to contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND (824-3463).
