Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation last night arrested a Brentwood man in a multi-county iPad theft ring. He was arrested and charged with one count of theft between $1,000 and $10,000.

 In August of 2012, the District Attorney General requested TBI to investigate a theft ring where individuals were shoplifting iPads from area Wal-Marts and selling them to 30-year-old Ngoc Vo Ngo. In an operation conducted yesterday, Ngo purchased 9 iPads for $2,100 from law enforcement at Jennifer Nails on Ewing Drive in Nashville. Ngo was subsequently arrested. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department and Wal-Mart loss prevention department assisted in the investigation. Ngo was booked into the Davidson County Jail and released on bond.
