Applications are being accepted for four positions as TBI Special Agent-Forensic Scientist 1 in Memphis (1), Nashville (2) and Knoxville (1) crime laboratories.
Job duties
All positions will be assigned to toxicology units in TBI’s crime laboratories. An employee in this class performs a variety of moderately complex chemical, physical and biologic tests in analyzing and comparing evidence collected at a crime scene and from suspects.
Minimum qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, mathematics, or other natural or physical science; medical technology; forensic science, criminalistics, or other forensic related areas; including a minimum of 36 quarter hours in chemistry.
Salary: $3,613 – $5,600
